MANAGING YOUR MIND – TIPS AND TOOLS TO STAY COOL IN SCHOOL
Saturday 1st April, 10.00am – 12.00pm (repeated on Saturday 29th April)
In an introductory workshop, aimed at students in Years 5 and 6 (aged 9-11 years), we will explore through games, exercises and discussion how the practice of mindfulness can increase concentration and focus. We will also discover how the practice can help us manage challenging emotions and stay calm in times of change. The workshop is for children only, but parents are invited to join us towards the the end of the session to learn how best to support their children in the practice.
