SENDCo/ SEN Lead, required from 1 September 2018

This is wonderful opportunity for someone to join the school in the role of SEN Lead/ SENDCo and develop, deepen and integrate their understanding of mindfulness in education.

Although our ethos is based on the Dharma, the teachings of the Buddha, we have a commitment is to excellence in teaching and work practice and do not therefore require applicants to be practising Buddhists.. The main purpose of the role is contribute to the provision of a high quality education within The Dharma School by leading special needs and disabilities provision. The role is offered on a part-time basis 2 days a week and the salary is negotiable.

Volunteer Trustees

We are looking for some additional volunteer members to join our Board of Trustees.  A connection/empathy with Buddhism is desirable, along with an interest in Mindfulness in Education. We are open to individuals with diverse experience but when selecting we may prioritise skill sets that are of particular benefit to the school in order to create a balance within the board. Currently we are looking for new Trustees with specific skills in the following areas:

FINANCE

FUNDRAISING

EDUCATION (an ex head teacher / ex primary school teacher)

The time commitment is usually about  six meetings per year (Saturday mornings), although additional involvement may be required. If interested please complete the Application Form and send it to:
