PART-TIME INDIVIDUAL NEEDS ASSISTANT/ TEACHING ASSISTANT
The Dharma Primary School is looking for a SEN Independent Needs Assistant (INA)/TA is for a minimum of 9 INA hours a week, up to 15 hours timetabled time plus extra lunch time/breakfast supervision duties as available. This role is term-time only, initially for 2 terms, starting January 2019.
The salary for this role is £8.50/hour for INA and £8/ hour for TA and supervision roles.
Holiday : 28 days paid holiday per year, pro rata to be taken in school holidays
Start Date : 7th January 2019
Closing Date for Applications : 10th December 2018 and interviews will be at the end of the week of 10th December 2018 and the Monday of the next.
We are particularly seeking Governors with experience in fundraising, education and estate management but would welcome Governors with expertise in other areas.We are seeking two Governors to join our board of trustees.
Essential skills include the ability to work as part of team, a commitment to ‘collective responsibility’ and the ability to think strategically. Other skills such as finance, legal, HR and general business skills would be valuable additions.
There is an approximate time commitment of seven board meetings per year.
Our school Governors provide an external perspective and an ability to challenge assumptions and look for solutions. You will bring enthusiasm and experience from other areas of life and work together as a well-balanced group of people to support the Head Teacher and staff to drive the school forward.
