Funding and Donations
Registered with the Charities Commission in 1992, the Dharma School Trust was established to support the provision and advancement of a quality academic education combined with the development of practical wisdom based upon Buddhist principles for children and young people.
The Dharma School appreciates donations to support its work and aims. Current projects for which we are raising funds:
A bursary fund enabling us to give financial assistance to families in need wishing to attend the school.
The development of a children's meditation programme to be taken into other schools.
The creation of a shrine room as an additional teaching facility and to provide a meditative space for the local Buddhist groups and workshop leaders.
The Bodong Project through which we support the education and welfare of a small group of young monks in Nepal who are being educated and trained to assist in the revival of the ancient Tibetan tradition of Bodong.
