Pupils use ICT to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information responsibly, safely, creatively and with discrimination. They learn how to employ ICT to enable rapid access to ideas and experiences.
Increased capability in the use of ICT promotes initiative, understanding and safety as well as independent learning; with pupils being able to make informed judgments about when and where to use ICT to best effect. We also ensure we consider its implications for our work and our fellow digital citizens.
We believe it is vital both children and adults learn how to be safe on-line. The teaching of e-safety is at the heart of our IT curriculum. In addition we offer on-line resources to our parent community to assist in maintaining children’s safety and learning at home.
