We believe that parents, carers and family play a central role children’s education and development. Therefore, the school very much values parental input and views. At least once every half term there is a community meeting where there is the opportunity for main issues raised by parents to be discussed with the Head Teacher and trustees.
The strong sense of community is fostered through events such as the weekly puja (assembly), festival days and school concerts. These bring us all together in an appreciation of the children’s work, performances and supports the school’s ethos.
The support and commitment of our parent body is a noticeable strength of our school. Often parents come forward to organise social events for parents, and there is a strong support network within the parent community. As a school, we are grateful for the generosity of our parents and supporters, many of whom regularly give their time, volunteering and helping to run fundraising events such as school dances, winter celebrations and our annual summer fair.
