We hold Open Mornings twice a term for prospective parents interested in visiting the school with a view to enrolling their child/children in our Nursery (Early Years), Reception or Years 1 – 6.
Our Open Mornings start promptly at 9am and follow a set timetable, usually finishing by 10.45am. We begin with the school’s weekly puja – the Buddhist equivalent of a school assembly. This often includes a short talk by our Head Teacher, Clare Eddison, on a particular topic related to mindfulness and our Buddhist ethos, a short meditation and some chanting. It is also an opportunity for pupils to present some of their work – a different class will usually contribute each week, reading out stories or poems, showing artwork or singing and performing.
Afterwards visitors are taken on a brief tour of the school and have the opportunity to talk with teachers and staff, and to view classes in session. We also offer an informal Q & A session with Years 5/6 pupils and our Head Teacher – along with tea and biscuits.
If you are interested in attending an Open Morning, please book a place using the form below or phone us on 01273 502055. You are also very welcome to visit at any time, just call for an appointment. All information submitted via this online form will be kept strictly confidential.
