Interested in attending an Open Morning? Come along and find out how our Buddhist-inspired ethos nurtures happy, confident children who love learning!
Please book a place using the form below, or phone us on 01273 502055. (We would be grateful if you could inform us if you are no longer able to attend once you have booked). We recommend our Open Mornings for a rounded experience of our unique school and all that we have to offer, though you are very welcome to call for an appointment to visit at another time if necessary.
Open Mornings start promptly at 9am and follow a set timetable, usually finishing by 10.45am. We begin with the school’s weekly puja – the Buddhist equivalent of a school assembly. This often includes a short talk by our Head Teacher, Clare Eddison, on a particular topic related to our ethos, a short meditation and some singing. It is also an opportunity for pupils to present some of their work – a different class will usually contribute each week.
Afterwards visitors are taken on a brief tour of the school and have the opportunity to talk briefly with teachers and to view classes in session. We also offer an informal
Q & A session with Years 5/6 pupils and our Head Teacher – along with refreshments.
